Oh yes, in more ways than one. Valastrasz had to learn how to read, write, and speak Eorzean, learned that dragons are not viewed in a positive light in majority of the world, and of course learn how to control/master his own abilities as he grew up.

Honestly, I do it primarily for cosmetic reasons. I want Valastrasz to look how I envision him actually looking and to have the dragon features he should have.
Plus, I enjoy him having Vergil style fighting.

I suppose this is more for the player: If you use mods, why?
For me it's about having my character properly shown in the game. The game has a serious lack of styles for PoC characters and the ones we do have are so unserious.

Probably not. Especially if it was Valastrasz’s 13th shard. If it was a void aspected shard of Valastrasz, he would instantly want to erase it from existence.

Probably not. Especially if it was Valastrasz’s 13th shard. If it was a void aspected shard of Valastrasz, he would instantly want to erase it from existence.
Honestly, I would be surprised at what they even could do with Valastrasz, considering he came from a different Star. Only way they could really do it is if hell froze over and there was a collab between World of Wacraft and Final Fantasy XIV.

By the time that Valastrasz would pass away, all his deeds would have been forgotten by the world except for his fellow dragons that remained. How he would be remembered is entirely dependant on how he took losing Y'shtola. He could become a new terror, or simply vanished from the Star.
