I'm a chronically online millenial whose is agender, if that helps you know where I stand on things.

#promosky (is this still a thing?)
Pumpkin Patch Pack, 3.5/5☆ i enjoyed it but found the antagonist a little lackluster. I was really expecting more from the scene but also i read a lot of mafia/crime stuff so that's not a reflection on the author. Excited to read the next book that is a little more fitting to current weather.

I read Pack Scratch Fever very quickly and i can forgive a lot Then i got to the next book and realized I truly cannot stand the books. The world building is almost nonexistent. The spice is weird (not in a kinky way) and the entirety of the dialogue is repetitive. 1st book 2/5☆, 2nd DNF

An Egg for Ansel by Amy Bellows gets 5/5☆. It was so cute and wholesome and I love the characters. Perfect for reading while snowed in.

Why did I like a Pebble For Lewis so much? Why am i excited for the next book? My partner sent me a tiktok about it as a joke but like it's soooo good. The nesting scene with the pillows is hilarious! 7/5☆

10/10 would knife a pillow again 🤣

Smitten by the Alien Saloon Owner is like a 6/5☆i loved it so much. The characters so sweet. It was the ultimate like happy feel good read. I love this series, and I'm so excited for the next one.

With a Little Luck bt Jillian West gets a 5/5☆. I love a psychopath romance. And a retired footballer next door romance. And whatever Ridge's character trope is lol

Awesome read even if I'm not the biggest fan of pregnancy based stories.

No Escape and One Way Out is a great 6/5☆ duet by Jillian West. What can I say, this author hits my sweet spot everytime just about. But this one in particular is GREAT.

I can't wait to read more in this universe.
January 11, 2026 at 7:25 PM
Is Jillian West my fave author? Maybe. All I know for sure is unexpected delivery is a 4.5/5☆ i lived the expanded epilogue the only reason it's not a 5☆ is that I personally didn't super vibe with characters. They are well written just not my personal fave tropes. Still enjoyed the story alot!

Titanoboa is a 5/5☆ great first read of the year!!! Love the naga bride series and looking forward to future installments.

I am positive this is wrong bc the longest book I read was like 800 and something pages but go off I guess.

((Please remember I am a stay at home cat parent. Though I work hard I still have a lot of time to read.))

It's almost new year!
My resolutions for 2025 were:
Read 52 new books (read 73)
Re-read 5 books (reread 3)
Journal about at least 40 of the books (🙃)
Make a proper panang curry (⛔️)
Try 5 new restaurants (✅️)
Work on social anxiety regarding my appearance and perceived expectations of others (✅️)

I Married Amreth will probs be my last read of the year unless I squeeze in a novella. It gets 3/5☆ i like it a lot and will continue reading the books this coupling just wasn't my fave. The world building was awesome though.

My goal was 52 books this year. I made it to 73. All in all, not too bad

Bro I LOVE the Naga Brides books but the cover style got changed and it took me 5ever to realize that was the book i kept getting notified had come put 😅
December 26, 2025 at 9:19 PM
Dnfing Kraved by the Krampus by Alexa Ashe and Jewel Hayes If you like things written like the Christmas Carol but modern setting you'll love it. I just can't stand it tbh. Idk, I only got 8% so like plz don't let me dissuade you from reading it. Just wasn't my vibe.
December 11, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Scream For Me by GM Fairy gets a 1/5☆ idk im assuming it's supposed to be funny but i found it horrible to read. Every sentence seemed the same length, the progression was lack luster. I don't dislike a book often and I barely finished this without dnfing and i rarely do that. But yea wasn't for me
December 9, 2025 at 3:50 AM
He Sees You When Your Sleeping by Kass OShire and Emily Antoinette gets 4/5☆ I quite enjoyed the story for more of a dark romance though the pacing was a little weird at times. I had tried both authors in the past and didn't get into them so this was a pleasant surprise! Perfect for xmas time!
December 3, 2025 at 6:35 PM
Queens by Invi Wright gets like a 2.5/5☆ but that might have to do with the gap between when i read the first 4 books and the one released today. Also though I love the concept FMC being the unhinged one idk she read to childish for me and it was offputting. Still I will check put book 6

Bonded by Christmas was a 4.5/5. I love Jillian West this wasn't my fave book by her but it was still so good. I've been having issues finding monster or omegaverse holiday books to get into the season so it was a delight and released just in time! If anyone has recs let me know 🤣

I wish just once I could have a nice nostalgic experience without cycling back through my trauma. 🫠
November 17, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Soul to Embrace gets a bajillion/5☆ the very end side story just made me so happy and the entire book was great. I'm so excited to read the prequels. Legit i saw the prequel pop up in my recommended and that made me stop rationing the books lol the whole Duskwalker Brides series is just amazing
November 16, 2025 at 8:41 AM
A Soul to Protect was great 10/5☆ I'm immediately diving into the 8th book because I'm sooo close to finishing the main series.

I'm a claustrophobic person but I wish to be wrapped in a giant snake tail now. The trauma is written with care and I love the author puts effort into doing it right.

Look, I read ALOT of monster romances, and some hit better than others. Crossing Between by Aspen Black gets like a 2/5☆ I think for many people it would be a 5/5 but for me, it misses the mark due to things many may think silly. One thing being no mention of contreceptive. 1/2

The way im about to crash out. I was trying to have a nice shower. But i have a detachable showerhead and for some reason it kept falling????? Like it fell out of the shower and soaked EVERYTHING. I did nothing different I didn't mess with it in a way that would make it not sit proper UGGH
