to me there's no such thing as the greatest of all time. there's a hierarchy of tiers certain rappers fall into but as the absolute best? nah, i don't see it.
greatness is witnessed all around but there's nothing conclusive about the GOAT. it's all preferences.

I think you have to take into account everything involved when you're talking about the greatest. all the sliders have to be up. I don't have anybody outrapping Lupe 1 on 1 but it's hard to compare him to folks like Hov, Kendrick, Nas, etc. who have had longer runs.

never been an elitist but the sad thing about hip-hop and rap being the new pop music is that we’re subjected to the opinions of people who it was just… not made for.
not only were they not the intended audience, some folks will never go out of their way to at least attempt to understand.
