Good morning Tuesday friends at Bluesky. It's really dark now and I'm starting to long for the snow that lights up our part of the world again.
The sun is visible behind the cloud cover. But the forest looks black with a wet, glistening country road winding through it.

Heute vor 95 Jahren wurde Alewtina Pawlowna Koltschina, geborene Leontjewa, geboren. Sie war eine sowjetische Skilangläuferin. Sie gehörte in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren zu den besten Skilangläuferinnen. In ihrer Karriere konnte sie fünf olympische Medaillen erringen.

#macromonday I snapped this poor Feathered Gnat that had succumbed to a spider web. The antenna were out of this world! I was amazed at the detail in the face. The super plush head gear enable the males to 'sniff' out the females. Very useful 💚🙌🏻🦟👃💃

Brewer's Blackbirds is a medium size wild bird. Males are a glossy black color with piercing yellow eyes as in my photo. Beautiful bird. At first glance I thought it was a crow or raven but the bright yellow eye caught my attention.

Helsinki ist eine wunderschöne und ruhige Stadt. Ich habe es dort sehr genossen. Ich habe in fünf Ländern gelebt, und Helsinki hat sich von allen Städten, in denen ich gewohnt habe, am schnellsten verändert.

Ich hoffe, das Café Carusel ist immer noch so schön und gemütlich.
