An old lime tree seen during a local walk nearby on Sunday. I love the texture of the bark and green lichen on it, as well as the single trunk seems to have grown into three separate smaller trunks over time.

Intertwined tree trunk(s) seen at Padley Gorge, an ancient woodland in the Peak District with mossy rocks, trees, a brook and small waterfalls. It is a temperate rainforest, one of the most inland examples in the UK, known for its ancient oak and birch trees, high humidity, and frequent rainfall which create the lush conditions necessary for this type of ecosystem. Padley Gorge is a deep, narrow valley in the Peak District, Derbyshire. It is a remnant of an ancient woodland ecosystem, home to a diverse range of flora, including rare lichens and mosses. Key features include the Burbage Brook, which runs through the gorge, and the dense canopy formed by the oak and birch trees.

A seagull I digitally mirrored twice, so that there are four seagulls flying towards each other. They have striking red legs and are all taking off from a concrete wall. Seen at Whitby beach a few years back. Gull sitting on a steel crane as if in charge of it, or keeping the balance. Seen Mevagissey, Cornwall. The original photo, uncropped and unmirrored. Swan swimming on river Trent in Nottingham. The wing's plumage is slightly lifted and allows sunlight to shine through, revealing it's texture.
