The USPCA is deeply disturbed by footage on social media that indicates a family pet cat has been "torn apart" by a pack of uncontrolled dogs at a property in Northern Ireland.

Eddie was the victim of an appalling act of animal cruelty as a firework was attached to his tail and exploded, causing horrific injuries. Thanks to our vet team's efforts and Eddie's resilience, he is now recovering well and has returned home.
