A Requiem for USAID:

I've been a recruiter in the civil engineering industry for over a decade. One of the first searches I worked on was for a Chief of Party for a rural roads rehab project in Liberia, the firm was partnering with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

I haven't seen any of the Best Actress performances that were nominated this year yet, but I *can* say Pamela Anderson was really goddamn good in The Last Showgirl. Transcendent. I never felt like I was watching Pamela Anderson, only the character on the screen. I wish she had been nominated.
