I know people are just being nice when they learn I draw and say things like "I can barely draw a straight line" but it just makes me sad. I always think one of the best things my 1st year high school art teacher told us was "if you can write your name, you can draw, you just have to try

I really need to start keeping Falco's feathers from when he moults for longer so I have them for reference and don't have to pray to the birb gods that he loses one whenever I need to draw feathers

Been doodling a bunch of heads/busts lately cause that's all I really have brain power for rn so I decided to challenge myself a little more and practice front facing heads and I feel like maybe all heads should follow Phineas and Ferb rules actually

I enjoy how I've been rendering hair which tends to get rid of most of the lineart and focus on bigger shapes so I feel the need to carry that over to more of my drawing, especially the skin, but then I lose all the little texture doodads I add in the lines and I can't figure out how to balance it

I've hit a point with my art where I'm liking how I'm choosing to stylise things and my lineart, but now I'm having a crisis about my rendering cause I like more painted styles but I feel that clashes with my lineart and I lose a lot of little things from painting over it so it's a weird spot I'm in

I've only ever had this happen twice that a game ends up using the same name that I use for my character which is usually one of my OCs and both times it has been Fantasy Life with Nox in the first one and now Mira in TGWST and that's just really funny to me

Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.
