There are real gripes here but some of this is silly. They picked a charger that charged $0.60/kwh. Compared to average fast charger rates that’s like picking gas at $4.50/gallon and complaining about it. They also charged from 80-100% which you don’t do unless you need to because it’s not fast.

They claimed it only got them 350 miles of range. The comments ate it up. Car wasn’t mentioned in original photo but poster claimed it was an Escalade. That EV has a 200kwh battery and achieves a range of 558 miles in real world testing. So to charge it with 220kwh you’d need to go from 0-100%.

Facebook for me has just turned into a misinformation center. It’s interesting what I see on it compared to anywhere else. Someone posted about how bad EVs are because they used a random screen grab of the price of a charging session. It was 220 KWh for $130. It took an hour and half.

Since 1980 there have been 3 major renovations to the white house. 2 were done by Trump costing 3+ million during his first term and 200k+ for this one. And that's if you count the rose garden and ballroom as 1 renovation. The first one was done by Obama and received equal amounts of backlash.

Vaccinated kids won't catch it at the same rate as unvaccinated kids. But they still will with enough exposure. And vaccinated kids can still die from measles. Again at a lower rate than unvaccinated kids.

Vaccines don't guarantee you won't get the disease. They decrease the chance you don't catch it. In the case of measles we decreased it to basically 0 with vaccine adoption. But now if a bunch of kids bring it to school everyone in that school is susceptible.

No they don't though. That's the problem. They spread measles to kids who got vaccinated. And now instead of a 0% chance of children dying from measles they have a non 0% chance.

The most frustrating part of this is this was already dealt with. Measles shouldn't be an issue in modern society. We have people actively trying to revert progress.

It produced about 0.4% of the carbon a typical data center would produce. That's less than a day and half of run time. If you use blue sky for more than 1.5 days a year you're contributing a larger carbon footprint than her jet. What are you doing about that?

Nothing can be said for you to get over your delusion. She's not trashing the planet. Actively trying to reduce her carbon footprint is the exact opposite of that. Meanwhile almost everyone on that list above her is actively against things like reforestation, renewable energy, etc.
