Congratulations to University of Regina researcher Dr. Affan Shoukat, one of ten researchers across Canada to receive new national funding for collaborative AI research. 👏

Dr. Shoukat received $300,000 from NSERC and CIHR to advance his AI work in infectious disease modelling and public health.

Baruch Sokaribo's life ended suddenly on his way to Convocation in 2024. In his honour, the U of R community has created a scholarship in Math & Stats so his spirit of learning and achievement will continue to support future students.
