Jesus is on the move again. Some follow straight away. Others hesitate—they’ve got plans. But His call isn’t a suggestion. If He’s the Way, the Truth, and the Life, then He must be followed—even when it’s inconvenient. What’s holding you back?

The disciples couldn’t imagine Jesus leaving as a good thing—but He knew they’d need the Holy Spirit to become who they were made to be. That promise wasn’t just for them. The same Spirit is with us today—guiding, empowering, and never leaving us alone.

We can lament and still trust. Like Habakkuk, we name what’s broken — and still say, “We’re counting on You, Lord.” His rule will prevail. Not fear. Not chaos. Not despair. God is still good. Still in charge. And that’s enough to hold onto.

Jesus says, “My sheep hear my voice…” — but what if we truly listened? Not just heard, but tuned in with hearts that say, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” He is speaking — we just need to quiet the noise so we’re ready to follow.

Jesus doesn’t just show the way — He is the way. The beautiful life Psalm 16 talks about isn’t about perfection, but walking with Him daily. Real joy and contentment come from His presence, not our circumstances.
