This is just insufferable back-patting. Zero critical reflection or self-awareness of what they did, and the choices they made. Just none.
The state of media isn't fit for purpose in the current moment, and nobody wants to learn a gods damned lesson.
How a CBC discussion on Trump's '51st state' threat drew hundreds of complaints — before it even aired | CBC News
What prompted the anger (and, in a few cases, startling claims CBC was engaged in 'treason,' 'sedition' and 'betrayal') were two things: the program title and the proposed question to the audience.

If you share my deep concern that a fascist like Elon Musk could use the X algorithm to interfere with the upcoming Canadian election please write to Elections canada and demand a full investigation into X's interference in Canada.

My granddaughter woke up this morning and said “Nana it’s frosting outside” and now that’s how I shall refer to frost for the rest of my life 🌱

It’s a Bomb Cyclone morning here with what I affectionately call “camp coffee”—instant coffee with canned milk. This is why you will pry my gas stove and wood burning fireplace from my cold dead hands.

How prepared for this were you? #bombcyclone

Good Monday Morning! Here’s a little garden inspired Thanksgiving table inspo for all my American friends.

Honey nut squash, white moon pumpkins, eucalyptus, strawflowers, status, and hydrangeas all from my gardens 🌱

I’m putting together a gardener’s gift guide for the holidays.

What is on your list for this year? What item(s) do you consider every beginning gardener should invest in?

I’ll go first: A garden planning guide and/or a good book on seed starting and saving.

Add yours 🌱👇👩‍🌾

Hard to believe this is the same space just two years apart. Creating my own sanctuary in my backyard has been worth every second of hard work it took to do it 🌱

On my 🌱 to do list today:

Plant 2 thousand tulip bulbs
Plant 200 daffs
Remove 1/2 the soil in my raised beds and top with my own compost
Map out my 2025 garden plan

Will I get any of this done? TBD

I always like to put a lil surprise in my seed order. Yesterday I picked up Biquinho peppers from West Coast Seeds. I had a butternut squash ravioli dish that had a few, pickled, scattered on top along with goat’s cheese for a gorgeous hit of heat and acidity to cut the sweet. Yum 🌱

I’ve placed my veggie seed order for my 2025 garden. With the uptick in “resistance gardens” I’m seeing over on 🧵s, and new gardeners wanting to learn to grow some of their own food, I think it’s wise to do this early.

Or do I just have PTSD from the seed shortages of 2020🌱
