Told my dad I was diagnosed as autistic. In typical pop fashion he made it about himself. Saying that he now “feels at peace that was the reason I was such a bad child.”. I refused to let him trigger me. I told him I’m more focused on the future with this new knowledge. My past does not define me.

A lot of things in life could have been different if somebody took the time to properly diagnose myself as a child. I’ve had suicidal thoughts and motives because I was told I’m different and a terrible child. I’m trying to not let this get to me.
