I don't know what it means, if anything, that Brian K. Williams (deputy mayor of Los Angeles, public safety) had that bizarre-ass bomb threat episode right before the emergency response infrastructure fell apart and the fires happened how they did... But it maybe needs to be looked at? Just saying.

The one and only thing I'm going to cut Gavin Newsom some slack on is the high-speed rail. I think it's going to be completed and completed well, and it's about the only positive legacy this man has to look forward to after his foray into Richard Spencer cosplay. I was right about equity-- Manufactured homes ARE appreciating on par with site-built homes, if fixed to a permanent foundation and on a purchased home lot. Soon, the permanent foundation stipulation won't matter as much. Building standards have converged with site-built, too. Little difference.
