Pondering - shouldn’t people running for National office have to pass a government test first? A basic government/ethics test would be helpful I’m thinking!

@aoc.bsky.social my representative, Jack Bergman MI hasn’t held a town hall since 2017. What can we do to get our concerns through to a non-existent, boot licking, elected official who refuses to meet with us? Email and calls aren’t working.

I wake up today feeling the growing sense of hopelessness. What new horror will we face today? I sent another letter to my Representative (Bergman MI). I will get another form letter in reply where he sides with Trump. Will our court system stand? Where are you finding hope?

This Thanksgiving let’s remember to look for all of the blessings in our lives - family, friends, health, community. It’s been a decade of a year but we will make it through together! Hoping you all enjoy your Thanksgiving with loved ones and when unable - memories of those loved ones.
