Recently, I've had conversations with #ITT Teacher Training applicants who are really unclear about the differences between the training routes available to prospective teachers.

Today my @uonsoe.bsky.social #historyteacher s have handed in their 1st assignment. I'm super proud. They've been beginning teachers for 4 months. The amount they've learnt & practised has been 🤯 This first assignment is about them taking stock & considering their curricular values. Now they rest!

#UoNSoE's Professor Gary Mills has been appointed a trustee of @yorkarchaeology.bsky.social, the trust that oversees the Jorvik Viking Centre and Dig Museum in York. His work with them will mainly focus on developing new education programmes.
