MUN plays a crucial role in our province. It has a special obligation to the people of this province.

That obligation can't be met without proper funding.

We stand in solidarity with the students, faculty, and staff who are fighting to protect this vital institution.

In Canada, proposed cuts of 15% across the federal government would have a dramatic effect on already globally decimated research & science.

Join Canada's research and science community and tell PM Mark Carney to preserve the funding promised in 2024.

Over the last ten years, Dalhousie University reported $463 million in net surpluses. Where did that money go? Where did it come from? Where is it now? Is any of it available to address the university's current financial constraints?

If you want clear answers to that question, check this out
Three weeks ago I started digging into Dalhousie's finances and ended up mostly with some hard questions. I have now spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to answer them.

If you wanted 8000 words assessing claims about one university's financial constraints, do I have a treat for you.
