We asked ARC residents and users if they'd like to take part in a photography project to help us capture life in the ARC. We gave participants a single use film camera for a day, with the task to take photos of whatever they liked in the building.

An excellent example of an arts/science collaboration 👏 This unique instrument has introduced David Mahon's muon research to new audiences, by asking them to think about the radiation that surrounds us. We can't wait to see where the 'Muonophone' ends up next!

The ARC's MakerSpace is now open to all University staff and our postgraduate researcher community!

General access is free, including the use of 3D printers, sewing machines, a laser cutter, electronics and tooling facilities.
