Programmers listen up! Programmer art is fine and good! It makes things obvious to your team that it’s temporary and needs an art pass, and it allows you to control specifications. But more importantly- what if you pop off? What if it’s good enough to ship? YOU GET TO LOBBY FOR AN ART CREDIT!
"We used AI for placeholder art" increasingly feels like such a cop-out man. Placeholder art just needs to fill a space. It is meant to be loudly temporary. It should be so obviously Not Meant For Release that it can't be missed.
