Steam Wargames Fest is live from now until Monday, May 5th. It's a great boost for the hobby to have this much visibility on Steam. Go grab a game even if you already have too many, backlog be damned! 😀

Strategic map from Berlin DLC, showing the frontlines in January 1944. The hotfix notification is pulling double duty for this week's #screenshotsaturday 😁
We pushed a fix for the issue where starting a new campaign uses up way too much VRAM and crashes on certain cards.

Enjoy!

New community mod: 14-scenario "Abyssinia 1935-36"

A border incident at Walwal provided Mussolini with a pretext [...] while a lack of meaningful international intervention emboldened him, leading to Italy's full-scale invasion of Ethiopia in October 1935.

New community scenario: Operation Sieg

This is a hypothetical scenario from the "What if?" category. In 1945, the German army accomplished the impossible: during operation Wacht am Rhein, it surrounded the Anglo-American troops in Holland...

Five years in, still made it to a "favorite games of 2024" list. Cheers, Dean! 🤗

My favorite games of 2024 | The DeanBeat
So many games. So little time. Seems like I say that every year, as my pile of shame gets bigger. But I had enough time to pick my fav games.

🔥Good, bad, or ugly?

We're runing a poll, from time to time (on the other website), about game features and mechanics to better guide future developments.

Today's question is: do you ever turn off "super tooltips" (left vs right #screenshot)?

Really interested if people turn them off, and why..

The "Victory in the East" campaign is a 25-scenario historical journey. Here's a 10,573 points run just completed on "normal" by Robert Pietrzko. Congrats!

We'd like to run a poll, from time to time, about game features and mechanics to better guide future developments of the battle system

We don't know how to run polls though 🫠 so, a question: what do you think about "supply disruption", the chance there won't be supply in a hex even if within range?
