Whoops! That moment when you forget to post a draft until two days later: from July 4th.
Rebecca Littler Metcalf was born the same day the Declaration of Independence was signed.
Research has found her headstone was engraved incorrectly adding an "e" to the end of her last name.
She died in 1861.

We are so honored and humbled that our bees have arrived safely! BeeKC has been working hard to make sure they feel right at home in historic looking houses made for them. Please give them plenty of space while they're getting settled. Long term; give them a wide berth so they continue to thrive.

Unsure of the era, but we were sent this gem by our friend, Bruce Mathews, awhile back and had to share! The McGee, Gregg, and Kagy mausoleums in their former glory when they were newer and pristine.
Thank you for this treasure and little slice of our history!

This gorgeous photo was sent to us by Robert Hatem. Over time he took photos of most, if not all of the hands here!
Which one is your favorite?
Do you know what they mean?
Should we do a brief video on meaning behind them?
Thank you Robert for sending this to us and sharing this amazing work of art!
