In Mueda, northern #Mozambique, 23K+ people fled recent attacks — arriving with nothing & cut off from basic services.

@unhcr.org, @iom.int, @unicef.org and @wfp.org are providing food, shelter, hygiene & protection via the UN Joint Response Programme — but needs far exceed resources.

Over 6,000 people have been displaced from Mocimboa da Praia district, in Cabo Delgado, due to attacks or fear of attack by non-state armed groups.

UNICEF is actively supporting children and families displaced by the Cabo Delgado conflict, with a focus on providing humanitarian assistance.
