By refusing to separate funding for ICE from funding for the things our communities really need, representatives like Gabe Evans are intentionally harming our communities and the people who elected them.

We all need our government to run smoothly. Whether it’s through food programs, national parks, or Medicare, government can provide real help for us. But now, certain politicians in Congress are choosing to hold those programs hostage by trying to use our tax dollars to fund violence in our streets.
