This Saturday, we stood with the community members and leaders in the thousands that attended No Kings rallies across our state. When our communities stand up against systems that aren't working for them and call out greedy billionaires and corporations, we put power into the hands of the people.

That's right. TABOR is a tool used by billionaires to rob our state of services and programs that our communities need. Even if we save a few dollars, millionaires are saving way more, and our roads, schools, and parks are suffering. Don't let billionaires and corporations keep tricking you.

We held a public action in Westminster where renters made demands of their corporate landlord, Inspire, and invited them to respond. They didn't show up. Our communities and renters need open communication and safe, stable, and affordable homes.

Last week, UNE members flew to Washington, DC to tell their stories and push back against the life-threatening federal budget cuts. 14 members from across the country were arrested while demanding no cuts to critical housing programs. If they try to cut us out of the budget, we will disrupt them.

Yesterday, UNE leaders and members joined neighbors and allies to shed light on the unsafe living conditions in rental housing in Westminster and the lack of sufficient enforcement mechanisms at the city level. When our communities stand together, we put our people power on full display.
