My clear arukundesu actually had an interesting problem; it would turn on 2% of the time but never for long
Looked fine if a tiny bit corroded when opened

Got my little orange slime friend up and running. Managed to survive the first hour, though they fell in a hole and i left them there for several minutes by accident

Mothra tama has been safely (if a bit destructively) saved from its stripped screw situation and it did indeed have batteries hiding in it
Luckily no corrosion and it works, didn't test the buttons yet tho

There's one plate on the gundam thunderbolt's legs that just. Doesnt fit???
First time i tried, snapped a pin off
Second time, crushed a completely different pin
Finally resorted to cutting off two of the three pins on each and gluing them in place

Feeling a bit burnt out on a lot of stuff. So im taking apart my gundams and kitbashing them. This will make me feel better 👍

I'll pop it open and see if it's something simple like cleaning the battery contact
I didn't leave any batteries in it, but if there was a speck of corrosion from a previous owner, it could have grown

Tamagotchis (and other vpets) successfully moved to their new home in a wicker basket with a soft cloth thag i can drape over top to cover them

Lol the only parts of my vpet collection that arrived on moving day #1 were my tamapitchi (needs new battery) and my friends (desperately needs capacitors replaced)

Picked up a couple vpets for my birthday and they've just shipped 🎉
