I spent so much time in detention (Class of '89) that it felt like my 8th period! Our history teacher, Mr. Vincent, who reminded us of a Southern lawyer, thought we owned dairy cows. I played along all senior year—it was a blast!
We also used to fly paper planes and throw around apples. Goofy adolescent shit. It was always amusing to push someone's desk until the teacher barked, "What are you doing back there?" I won't say I recommend Detention Hall, but I met a lot of cool people there.
