Steam controller 2 might be one of the ugliest things ever, but it looks like it could be one of the most comfortable things to hold and that does more for me than it should...

You don't have to finish it in three ten hour long sittings, I think a lot of discourse comes from being in a mad dash, some kind of rush to be "one of the first"

Been posting about vidya a LOT today with people, just thinking about the medium lately...

I think failing-forward as a mechanic is something that fascinates me. Mostly because there's so much potential to move forward, but VERY few devs make the cost of doing so also interesting.

I see a lot of "game respecting player time" discourse going around again, and really I think it should be "I value the time I have more than what this game is asking of me"

It's not unreasonable for a game to ask a player to do something within it's rules, but you gotta be open to the engagement

I was looking closer at that Zero Parades trailer the other day cause I had a gut feeling about it.

The most intriguing thing about FF13 and it's sequels to this day is the hotpants wearing behemoths. Did someone make the hotpants for the behemoths? Did they steal the hotpants? Or are behemoths in that universe simply born into the hotpants?

We may never know...

Soon as you create an in game list of challenges, the challenge goes from a discovery to a commodity, a transaction; "I do this, I get reward"

It feels like we have to be told to keep playing rather than engaging with something for the love of it, this isn't exactly a new argument but...
