Inspired by the recent Corpse Flower (Titan arum) bloom at my local botanical garden. It only blooms for a short period every few years smells like rotting flesh, which attracts pollinators. I guess I’ve been thinking about death and decay a lot lately. #darkart #morbidanatomy #darksurrealism #art

“Metamorphosis” (2019). One from the archives I just dropped off for Superchief Gallery LA Hidden Gems group show opening May 17th. Maybe see some of you there? :)

I gained a few followers from the hardcover challenge (hi!) so thought I’d make a profile for my modeling work. My vextraterrestrial handle was taken so in an attempt to be very confusing (and mess up my searchability) I’ve used a nearly identical handle to this one instead! :p

And now for something completely different! These are some sketches from 2019-2021. I have this tendency to start a series, get really into it and if it’s unexpectedly popular (as these were on IG) I stop making them because I have this dumb thing against making repetitive things to be popular.

The alchemical Rebis or Great Hermaprodite, which represents a union or balance of opposing forces. An attempt to reconcile my gender fluidity.

It’s hard to make new art atm. I wanted to share these little watercolor sketches I did a few years ago. I know it’s probably better to stick to one recognizable style as an artist but I just enjoy experimenting too much and have so many vastly different ideas. Also trans rights are human rights ❤️
