We have known for a while that river tree planting is a great way to reduce flood risks in certain food-prone areas. But what is the best way of planting them for maximum effect?

Deer browsing threatens the UK's woodland expansion targets - deer, lovely as they are, eat young trees & saplings. A UK treescapes projects, iDeer, developed an interactive decision support tool that protects our beautiful deer population while growing our forests.
