Quick blender mapping tip: if you enable edge lengths in the viewport you can quickly eyeball the appropriate number of steps when beveling stairs with Ctrl+B

Google says a step should be no higher than 0.2m and no shorter than 0.25m. Doesnt need to be precise but can help make it look believable
