People who have ADHD traits at age 10 are more likely than those without such traits to have physical health problems and to report physical health-related disability at age 46, according to a study led by UCL PALS and University of Liverpool researchers.

Are neurodiverse labels helpful or limiting? “I suppose it is quite a thin description. If you say, ‘I’m autistic' or 'I’ve got ADHD’ people might have a very narrow idea of what that means,” says Prof. Joshua Stott from UCL PALS.

Dr Pavlopoulou from UCL PALS has been appointed Chair of the NHS Commission for the National Autism Peer Programme, Autism Central. It's a co-produced, peer-led support programme for families, carers, and professionals working with people with autism.
