It has taken 7 months, 100s of calls and emails, various excuses as to why a treatment wont be covered, at least 10 blood draws, multiple doctors visits, hours of tears...and daily chronic pain.
It shouldn't be this hard to receive care and medical treatment. 🧵

Health insurance is a legalized scam. One-third of many people's salary and it pays for nothing until you've already shelled out additional for a deductible that's well into the thousands. Even then, they may just say "No, we're not paying."
