I've been saying this for years. Comics punch up. Lazy, unimaginative comics punch down. Comedians who speak truth to power like Titus are important, now probably more than ever.
Comics punch up. When you see comics like joerogan & billmaher licking the taint of a fascist oligarch, they stop being comics, they’re sycophants, ass kissers protecting what they have, the farthest thing from rebels. Twain, Hicks, Carlin, Williams, Pryor, Bruce, Thats who you’re supposed to be.
