#UBuffalo just leveled up sound design! 🎼🔊

The new Slee B1 lab features a 22-channel Meyer sound system and a rare Nadia processor (1 of 12 worldwide). Students can now craft spatial audio like that used in stadiums, concerts and the Lincoln Center!

This summer, #UBuffalo students turned WNY into a climate lab!

With guidance from professor Sophie Nowicki, 15 students studied Lake Erie ice, shoreline erosion and past climate shifts, tackling challenges facing the Great Lakes and beyond.

100+ scientists are working together to understand how fast Antarctica and Greenland are melting, and what that means for our coasts.

Congrats to #UBuffalo PhD student Festus Adegbola, studying Geography with a concentration in Earth Systems Science, on earning the prestigious NASA FINESST Fellowship! 🌍🚀

He is using remote-sensing tech to study biodiversity from above, and now has NASA’s support to keep going.
