Kiddo broke the housing for his USB to micro SD card adapter and asked if I could 3D print one in translucent purple. The blue (top left) part is what was left of the original. From bottom left to right are the different iterations. Additional info in alt text.

A friend of mine asked if I could fix his RRoD Xbox 360. Figured it was the bad capacitors along the right side of the board and replaced them. It booted right up! Thank goodness I didn't have to do those old weird fixes.

Two weeks ago, my coworker quit. Schedule changed to 7pm-7am Mon-Fri which started last week. Woke up to a message this morning telling me the new schedule is Mon-Thurs 7-7, Fri 7-11, and Sun 11-7. I'm so sick of this place. Need a new job ASAP.

I've printed quite a few things since the acquisition of the K1C. Some I've made and some I've downloaded. Still in the R&D stage of a cartridge holder and a mount for my composite switch that sits on top of the CRT. Also replicated some parts we stock at work. In all a pretty cool device.

My first colossal failure. The reason? Turns out supports are important. Also learned that AI failure protection is disabled out of the box. Eventually got the Card Slinger printed and failure detection enabled.

First print vs second print benchy. Gave them to the girls and they love them. Also made rings for my fiance and myself. Tried to emboss text on the rings in FreeCAD, but I haven't figured out how that works yet.

Life is absolutely miserable for me right now. Fiancee lost her job in December and hasn't been able to find a new one yet. We've been living paycheck to paycheck since then. My car is on its last leg. Her car has no legs to stand on.
