Dad by day, hobbyist by... also day (bedtime’s at 9). Into tech tinkering, mead making (aka Viking juice), 3D printing wizardry, and flipping finds on eBay. Sharing projects, laughs, and the occasional affiliate link to support my gadget addiction.
Started a new batch… and this one might summon Odin himself 🩸🔥
Viking Blood Mead
OG: 1.150 👀
71B (Fernando back on duty), tart cherry juice, dried cherries, hibiscus, 3.148 lbs Sioux honey.
Bold, dark, dangerous. If it ferments dry… it earns the name.
Now we wait 🫧 Skål 🍻

Blooper from a new Mead project 🤣🤣

Orange Kumquat Chocolate Mead — new batch tonight 🍊🍫🍯
3 lb honey, OG 1.112 ( aiming around ~14%)
Used 0.4 lb kumquat, 2 oranges, ½ cup Crio Bru, EC-1117, and Fermento.
This is either gonna taste like a dessert mead…
or like I licked a citrus candle. We’ll see. 😅

Apparently the real star of my sponge holder video was… my dirty Sponge Daddy 😅
The comments were ruthless, so yes — we upgraded.
Before the internet calls you out too 👉 https://amzn.to/4coE6SP
How long do you actually keep your kitchen sponge? Be honest 👀

My wife saw the viral betta fish hammock…
So obviously I had to 3D print one.
The fish now has better furniture than I do. 🫡🐟

My cousin grabbed a wine-making kit and asked for help with his first batch 🍷
Kept it simple: 6 lbs grapes, 2 lbs sugar, ~1 gal water.
OG came in at 1.092, so we’re looking at ~12% ABV.
Nothing fancy—just learning the process and getting a solid first run.

Started a kitchen remodel back in October…
Got busy. Got sidetracked. Life happened.
Finally finished it today 🙌
Turns out “weekend project” really means eventually 😅
Worth it though.

Sold this vintage Cubs jacket a while back ⚾
Finally turned the packing clip into a quick video.
Nothing fancy — just packing it right so it gets there safe.

You can finally order USPS Ground Advantage boxes directly in the Poshmark app 📦
Quick video showing how to do it.
👉 Will you only use them for Poshmark?

Made a quick video of how I packed the $200 bear 🧸
Nothing crazy — bubble wrap, polybag, box, packing material.
Protect the item, ship it right.

This trick works!!

Picked up a Toshiba throwing an “incorrect disc” error.
Took it apart, poked around a bit, and somehow got it working again.
Skill? Luck? Vibes?
Either way — this is why I never call something dead without tinkering with it first 😅

Another old clip from the archives.
Finally edited the packing video for that Harley-Davidson jacket I sold back in December.
Nothing fancy — polybag, a little bubble wrap, box it up, tape it shut.
Simple, safe, and it made it there without issues. ✔️

Another one from the archives 📦
Remember that azure disc cleaner I sold a couple months ago? Found the packing video and finally put it together.
Bonus: you can actually see the buyer left positive feedback 🙌
Proof that packing well + patience still pays off.

Made a quick video showing how I attach my mead labels 🍯🍺
No glue, no spray adhesive… just regular milk.
Cheap, easy, and it actually works.
Old-school tricks > fancy supplies sometimes 😅

Made a quick video showing my mead label workflow 🍯🍺
Prompt ChatGPT for a flat 4×3 cartoon label → tweak → drop into Photopea for my logo → print on Avery 5168.
Nothing fancy, just a repeatable system that actually works 👌

Old clip from the archives 🍯
Pasteurizing Fluffernutter & Candy Corn mead using a sous vide at 140°F for ~1 hour. Gets the mead to temp, shuts down yeast, and doesn’t cook off flavors.
Anyone else do it this way, or am I just overengineering dessert mead again? 😅🍬🍺

Tonight’s experiment: homemade marshmallows 😅
All natural, only 6 ingredients, no weird stuff.
Somehow turned honey + gelatin into legit marshmallows… and yeah, they’re way better than store-bought.
10/10 would science again 🔥

I’m a sucker for anything that makes life easier 😅
Today’s little upgrade: speaker magnets + super glue = a permanent home for my measuring tape.
No more hunting for it every 5 minutes.
Small wins add up 👌

That 3D-printed No Soliciting sign I made a while back is actually doing its job 😅
Caught a solicitor walking up, reading it… and immediately turning around.
Printer earned its keep on this one 👌

Just the time lapse 👀
Printer doing its thing…
The end result might be more useful than it looks 😅

So my wife sent me something she wanted me to print…
So like a good husband, I did 🫡
3D printer stays busy, marriage stays strong.
Is this what being a supportive husband looks like? 🤔😂

That 5-gallon bucket I started back in August 🍑🍯
Found an old clip from when I transferred it to a new container and mashed up some extra peaches.
Trust the process… even when you forget about it for a while.

Last week’s goals = crushed ✅
Consistency really does add up.
Who else trying to hit these numbers every week?

Poshmark Depop Slow and steady across all three this weekend. Anyone else juggling multiple platforms?
