In the business we call this "foreshadowing"

And this is why the only things I will ever buy from Lionel are:

•1970s and 1980s standard O freight cars
•1992 Southern 4501
•MPC Scale Hudsons
•Lionchief M-K-T Mikado 851
•2000s to 2010s freight cars
•80 or 180watt Transformer
•fast track
•Maybe Lionel American Flyer stuff IF I had the money
For a company wanting to get new blood into the model train hobby, putting AI-generated slop on your products is probably the LAST thing you’d want to do to appease younger collectors and operators.

Also, this just looks ugly.

The new Lionel Chicago & Alton 4-4-2 Atlantic from Ericstrains in comparison to a C&A Pacific in its early years with the exact paint scheme.
Unfortunately, I could not find any of their 4-4-2s with that scheme.

It's a damn good paint scheme for an SP Atlantic!

Chicago & Northwestern E-2/E-2a 2908

One of the forgotten Alco Pacifics that pulled The Twin Cities 400 at over 100mph, and among the only steam locomotives on the Chicago & Northwestern that burned oil at one point.

It's most known for having dual air horns and the signature sky marslight

Fun fact:
Lionel painted an O Gauge model of the black beetle in Rock Island colors

Now THAT is the rocket

Should the Age of Steam Roundhouse temporarily disguise Canadian Pacific 1293 as the 1881 in Terror Train 1980?

This year does mark the 45th anniversary of the film's release in 1980. 1293 was the locomotive used in the filming in Vermont in 1979.

The entire Missouri-Kansas-Texas collection

60 years of the Katy, 1920 to 1980

Lionel, there is no excuse to mess up a Missouri Kansas Texas locomotive of the same class (The C-1-a class 0-8-0s were numbered 39 to 58)
Not once
Not twice
But THREE TIMES

And now for something completely different

It's a 1:24 scale model of the 2021 Motorsport BMW M4 GT3

CHICAGO & NORTHWESTERN E-S PACIFICS MENTIONED

During their final years of service in the 1950s, these engines could be seen pulling the new green and yellow gallery cars.

Locomotives such as 626 and 614 used them on fantrips.

Missouri Kansas Texas 382 pulling the new and rare Atlas double door 40ft with the Atlas 53'6" general american express reefer.

Another major milestone for my O Scale fleet has been reached after two years of searching.

Drawing for Trans Canada Limited

Took a bit while drawing in Illustrator, but I like how She turned out!! :D

I didn't draw this as fan, I drew it as a friend. No matter how rough life gets, you'll always have friends to help cheer you both up.😊👍

Today wasn't just my birthday, it was the 60th anniversary of the last run of my favorite passenger train, The Texas Special on the Katy in 1965.

In the last minutes of July 1st 2025, we celebrate and we cherish the memory of one of America's finest passenger trains.
