The 5K this morning went great! The crowds were big and the race energy was perfect. I got 23:39. I’m definitely very happy with it!
I also finished my 31st 5K in a row today. Suffice to say I’m taking a break for the next few days. #turkeytrot #running

I ran a practice 5K today, with a 23-minute, 22-second finish. Not my fastest ever, but I'm very happy with it after the ups and downs I've had this year. Running my first official race for 2025 next Thursday for Thanksgiving. Should be a good 5K. I'm excited! #running

So, I got sidetracked by WhatNot... I'd argue it was a good sidetrack, but it was also not writing. Suffice to say I am back on track today with a few extra Pokemon cards in my collection! So many more words to go before book 4 is done. #amwriting

I rarely run on the treadmill. But I also hate getting struck by lightning. Surprisingly the run was great today! Nothing crazy but got a 5K in 30 minutes. #running

I always find it interesting how I just stare at the screen with my manuscript for 30-60 minutes with music on. I'm just thinking but doing nothing else. Then suddenly everything will click and I'll know what to write. Anyone else get in the mood for writing differently? #amwriting #writingcommunity

I think some of the most fun about writing is outlining the chapters leading up to some pivotal moments in the story. Then when you finally get to one such moment after years... the satisfaction in finishing it is delightful! #amwriting #writingcommunity #writesky

I did not get 3K words yesterday, but I still made progress on book four. Honestly, one of the hardest things I find is starting a new chapter. Even if I know what the purpose of that chapter is, there is just something about setting the scene that slows me down. Anyone else? #amwriting #writesky

Second day of my daily posting journey! My goal for today is to write 3K words. If I do that, then book four will pass 30K. I also need to go for a run. My goal is a 5K per day for 30 days. Today is the 7th run. Lofty goals to start the week off! Happy Monday! #amwriting #running

I really am not great at this whole social media thing based on my posting inconsistency here. But I'm going to give it a try again. I write roughly a thousand words a day at the minimum, surely I can write a post here a day. With that said, I'll think of something new to say tomorrow! #writing

During the day I always enjoy taking a break from writing to go for a walk or run with @lilraine.bsky.social. Orlando has these beautiful pink flowering trees that bloom and it’s the season for them! A delightful sight to break up the monotony. #AmWriting #Running

Another successful day! I edited two chapters. Now that I'm working on book three again, it's coming along quite nicely.
On the non-writing front, I went for a 7-mile run today in my Vibrams. It was a bit chilly but nothing too bad after I warmed up.

I’m going to bed way too damn late but I did end up writing 2500 words today. The most I’ve done in one day in quite a while. I’d say that I’ll try to match if not increase the count tomorrow. However it’s back to some more editing. #amwriting

I’m always impressed by how effortlessly it seems everyone is able to post daily. I feel a constant struggle to come up with a reason, especially on average days where I get things done but there isn’t anything in particular that stands out.
