When ICE agents questioned a group of 11- to 14-year-olds who’d just finished batting practice, their coach, Youman Wilder, stepped in. “I’m willing to die to make sure these kids can get home,” he recounted afterward.
ICE Agents Invade a Manhattan Little League Field
Youman Wilder has coached local kids for twenty-one years—including four who have gone pro. When masked agents tried to interrogate his players, he told them, “You don’t have more rights than they do....

Texans are still recovering from catastrophic flooding. But Abbott is using the special session to criminalize THC and expand the Attorney General's power instead of delivering disaster relief.

The Supreme Court finally struck down a dangerous legal doctrine that has shielded police from accountability for years. This is a huge win for the family of Ashtian Barnes and communities across Texas. 🧵

Thank you to all the TX representatives who stood up for our constitutional rights and rejected #SJR1 yesterday. We urge you to continue holding strong today and vote down this harmful and discriminatory legislation. #TXlege

Did you know Texas lawmakers are trying to pass a law that would make it harder for Texans to register to vote?

SB 16 and HB 5337 would force people to show a passport or birth certificate just to register — even though non-citizen voting is already illegal.

In Texas, your freedom should never depend on your bank account.

Right now, lawmakers are pushing bills that would expand pretrial incarceration, weaken due process, and strip judges of discretion.

⭐ Texans want safe neighborhoods, respect for our families, and leaders who spend our tax dollars wisely.

But SB 8 and HB 5580 would force counties to turn local police into ICE agents — wasting resources on cruel, unnecessary programs that don’t make us safer.

The SAVE Act would take us backwards.

It’s a federal voter suppression bill that targets all of us, especially Native voters, military families, survivors of natural disasters, rural Texans, and the 69 million women who have changed their names after marriage.

🚨Call to Action! Let Texans Vote! 🗳️

All Texans deserve to have a voice in our democracy. Currently, nearly half a million Texans are barred from voting due to outdated felony disenfranchisement laws — despite living in, working, and contributing to their communities.

📢 Politicians keep getting the border story wrong

They push fear and division, painting the border as a crisis while ignoring the real struggles of families, workers, and communities. The truth? The border is home. It is resilience, culture, and power—not a problem to be solved.

DEFEND VOTING RIGHTS: STOP SB 16!

SB16 would force Texans to provide proof of citizenship to register to vote, a barrier that could disenfranchise eligible voters, especially naturalized citizens and low-income Texans.
