The Blk vote should be EARNED, not expected by candidates running for office. If a candidate running in TX doesn't carry this seal on their campaign lit/website, ask them why? We're holding politicians accountable for outreaching to Blk voters in every election cycle. texasprogress.org/committed

The TX Progressive Policy Institute for African American Engagement exists to bridge the divide between candidates/politicians and the African American electorate thru research-based analysis, voter engagemnt, and direct support to improve cultural fluency/maximize the power of the Black Vote in TX.
