Shout out to winter Divvy riders who’ve been braving extreme cold across Chicago:

12/13 (low 4°F): 3,242 rides
12/14 (low -1°F): 2,333 rides

On my ride in this morning, it was 10°F but felt like -5°F and people were still out riding. Protected bike lanes on Grand Ave made it possible and safe!

Also did Hart Hills gravel race. Interesting and tricky two track sections followed by quite a headwind later in the course when heading north. Pushed quite hard for the last 4ish miles and again placed in the upper 3rd overall and in age class.

A bit late posting, But here we go. Barry-Roubaix 36 mile gravel race went well, placed in the upper 1/3. Made it through Sager Rd. with only touching one foot down!!

I did my first gravel bike race yesterday. Melting Mann 38 mile it was great. Looking forward to more.
