Why are we seeing states like Illinois, and California with governors acting tough in speeches or trolling the regime online but when it comes to boots on the ground protecting their citizens we get crickets? What is happening in Illinois right now is a prime example.

Our cat Sheldon, who has cancer, has not been eating as much as he used to. Another sign that we are slowly losing him. I lost both my parents to this shitty disease. It never really heals. Wish science would figure this shit out.

Rewatching War Games and since I work in IT finding it interesting how when David first connects to the WOPR system he is presented with a logon prompt that is somehow able to just give him a list of games without logging in. I know it's just a movie but got me thinking how much security has changed

It may seem silly but I was excited this morning that our cat Sheldon was waking me up for food this morning. Since his cancer diagnosis he hasn’t been doing it and I was afraid that little thing we shared was gone.

I’m new here but wanted to share a pic of one of our cats,Sheldon. We just learned he has cancer on Election Day. He’s still mostly himself so we are just trying to enjoy the time we have left with him.
