53rd gig of the year, Todd Rundgren & Boo Hewerdine in Birmingham. Decent gig from Todd & band, for me the sound wasn’t the best & that impacted on things a bit, however still really good stuff . Obvs only a few of his bangers played. Boo used his 20 mins to good effect.

52nd gig of the year, NewDad & Cardinals in Birmingham. Entertaining gig by altpoprockers* NewDad, back in Birmingham to tour their latest, & decent, new record Altar. Great fun. Decent support from Cardinals who make a nice racket as well 🔥🔥🔥 * I don’t really get musical genres. It’s just music

51st gig of the year, The Last Dinner Party in Coventry. A showcase for the nearly released album, From the Pyre - they played it in full. Such a great band, they bring a bit of everything & it probably should be a bit of a mess but they are so good, everything they try works 🔥🔥🔥 great show

50th gig of the year, Day 3 of SWN festival in Cardiff. Great day, we saw Marsy, The Sick Man of Europe, Naima Bock, Morn, Opal Mag, Midding & Lime Garden. Everyone was super good, photos of our faves. We also had some amazing chocolate orange brownie. Such a great festival.
