Byte Breakers zoomies

I had to work quickly for Byte Breakers, so there wasn't time to explore ideas much. Luna was one of the easier characters for me since she's bouncy and childish

I did most of the animations for the test last year, about 900 seconds of animation over 10 months

Luna uniquely has 5 different jump animations to express her chaotic personality and make her cuter

I was thinking what to do for her idle and started tilting my head back and forth, and I thought it worked well so I also tilted her head

Her jump was designed to look especially good when sprinting into a jump, like a cat pouncing

She was my favorite character to animate!

I did most of the animation here, but the basic upright running was modified a bit by a coworker

My simple Maya viewport cel shading tool is released! It automatically finds materials to switch to cel shaded versions, and is easy to adjust

There is also a guide included along with tips on how to use it

Maya viewport cel shading tool is almost complete

It automatically finds existing materials and then you can apply the shader. It's easily adjustable and you can have different settings for different parts
