«El comunismo y la cuestión del imperialismo» es una antología que recoge la actualización de la postura leninista sobre el imperialismo en el presente. PIB como valor capturado, externalización, plusvalía global, son conceptos clave en esta posición.

En historia se produce un rasgo interesante a causa de su complejidad. Jamás un acontecimiento histórico o un tipo de gobierno es exactamente igual a otro. Pero tampoco es totalmente diferente. Eso dificulta las generalizaciones legítimas, pero también facilita las que no lo son.
