I redrew page 46 of Genericpaw for funsies. It's wild how much more polished the style has become lol. The original was drawn in 2021

The same as the other picture but drawn more poorly/sloppily.

Now that it's painfully clear that Sweetpea has feelings for Genericheart, I can finally post this drawing I made almost a year ago!

He got struck my lightning, was fine. He got his throat slit, thrown down a ravine and laid there for like three days, was fine. Ate deathberries, was fine. He went down a raging river as a kit, fine. They even retconned Spiresight giving up his life saving Shadowkit instead of Pouncekit.

I'm still convinced that they meant to make Shadowsight undying or something with how many "should've fucking died" experiences he had, then they just either forgot to actually do anything with it or chickened out but left all the crumbs anyway.

I really wonder what Princess' owners thought when one of the tiny kittens just disappeared one day. Do they think he got outside from the kitty door and was picked off by a hawk or something?
One day you have four kittens.
The next day one is gone and the mom cat isn't even worried or distressed.

It's okay to like characters who do bad things. There's a reason villains are so popular. But the problem comes when you either don't see that they're bad or don't want to acknowledge it because you don't want to deal with your fav being a bad person.

The Warriors fandom has a pretty big issue about liking characters who are bad people but not wanting to acknowledge they're bad. I'm assuming these are teens and younger doing it because I did it as a kid, too. But it's still disconcerting to see.
