So even the Source have some kind of Rules, yes Flow mentions they 'violated' their sacred word to which Motions says it could not only end this 'cycle' but also the rest of the following cycles, I think S4 will finally tell us what the 'cycles' mean exactly

I just realized that Thunderfang doesn’t get his shatter/chaos power back until after he takes the five’s souls. Meaning he literally gave it up to empower them. I assume he would’ve gotten it back had they died, so them being in Netherspace for millennia really was worst case scenario for him
