Took myself to a Pirates game while I’m working in Pittsburgh the next month & a half and my biggest takeaway so far is just how Black the starting lineup is. (I only watch baseball live in person so I don’t know other team’s players… just the O’s).

Y’all, I called Kweisi Mfume’s office today. I explained to the staffer that I called a few weeks ago asking for the Congressman’s stance on the SAVE Act and he didn’t have one at that time. I asked for an update given that a vote is more imminent. The staffer said he still hasn’t made a statement.

Perennial reminder that voting for elected officials is simply harm reduction. There is always a lesser of two evils, but don’t make heroes out of any of these people because they’re all shady AF one way or another.
