More than 2,000 constituents turned up for a town hall held in Asheville, NC by Republican Representative Chuck Edwards.

360 of those who came to be heard & to hold the Congressman accountable were allowed in. Those who were shut out remained outside and participated in a spontaneous demonstration.

My latest heroes are the Governors of Illinois and now Maine. Governor Mills, every American who wants to keep our Constitution and our democracy stands with you. Thank you for standing up for the people of Maine, and every American who will not abide our country becoming an oligarchic autocracy.

It's a good day for a protest of absurd continuing challenges to Justice Allison Riggs' election to NC's Supreme Court. She won, won the recount, survived Griffin's court challenges. He needs to sit down and go away. The votes were counted. Asheville, NC.

I have notified my (Republican) senators that I expect them to do their duty in vetting Cabinet nominees, who appear to be little more than hood ornaments on the incoming autocracy's limousine leading us into a dystopian nightmare of national decline. In so many words.
