INLS Award to Acharya’s novel Swapnabhumi
A prize of one thousand dollars — the INLS Homanath Subedi Diaspora Literary Award — has been awarded to Dr. Tulasi Acharya’s novel Swapnabhumi (Dreamland). This novel Swapnabhumi (also available in English as Running from the Dreamland on Amazon) tells the story of a character named Dipak, who comes to the United States from Nepal as an international student and discovers the true meaning of “dreamland” after facing many trials and tribulations. What, then, is the dreamland? The novel reveals the answer. On the occasion of the 117th birth anniversary of the great poet Laxmi Prasad Devkota, INLS presented the pre-announced awards in 11 categories at a ceremony held on Saturday in Manassas, Virginia.

Signing Books at Atlanta Writers Conference
Dear readers and writers, On the 24th of October, I was at the bookfair of the Atlanta Writers Conference organized by Atlanta Writers Club. It was a great afternoon to be there and sign my book, especially the most recent one "Like Water on Leaves of Taro." These are some of the pictures from the Atlanta Writers Conference. I ran into amazing readers, writers from previous conferences as well. It was surprising to meet one of the authors who came to me, lifted the displayed book "Like Water on Leaves of Taro" from the table, flipped to its back cover, and pointed out the blurb and said, "this is the blurb I wrote. Great book!" An amazing afternoon, indeed! All books are on Amazon! #colorfulcrowpublishing Routledge Books #himalayanmemoir #TulasiAcharya #highlight
