Watched 1st 2 episodes of new series Pluribus on AppleTV tonight. What a great show. Can't wait to see what the rest of the ride is like in the coming weeks. Highly recommend.

A few months ago, I recommended a work colleague a book by Joe Abercrombie, Best Served Cold. I had seen Kyle reading mostly crime/mystery novels. This is not that. Still, had a copy which I loaned him to read. And he did. When giving back, just said "thanks, it was good". He is a dude of few words.

My Dad turned 87 a couple of days ago. He has lots of health issues, severe dementia, and is in very assisted living. My sister lives close by though and got him a chocolate cake and strawberry shake to celebrate. He ate and drank it all.
And most importantly, still has that twinkle in his eye.

Only game I placed an itty bet on was Pats over Bucs. Got that right. Was tempted on others but glad I refrained. Would have have missed everyone of those. NFL is drunk this year. 🏈

Hardest time I ever had was after a weekend skiing at Copper Mtn and on the drive back down I70 to Denver my brakes went out. Was screaming "get out my way" as a barreled down the mountain. Had to use one of those truck off ramps.

Although I am the "Unhandy Man", I love watching shows about incompehensible engineering feats of the past. This evening, it's the construction of the emergency beacon on Car Rock in Scotland. Amazing from the design, materials, to the physical work to make it happen.
